Rochester Area YFC accomplishes its mission with these local ministry programs.

Our community and campus ministries are designed to engage teens in a life long journey of following Jesus. We work to build relationships, acknowledging that each teen is an individual with unique gifts, needs, hurts and hopes. Our desire is to see every teen develop a dynamic personal relationship with Jesus!

  • Campus Ministries
Every week YFC is on high school and middle school campuses reaching out to teens.  Various groups meet regularly to pray, share and encourage each other.  Sometimes, teens just need to know there's an adult who cares enough to listen!

  • Supernight
Our annual all-night event for middle school and high school students.  Teens enjoy hanging out with their friends, meeting new friends, and staying up all night bowling, ice skating, playing basketball and volleyball, and hanging out at the Rochester Athletic Club, Rochester Recreation Center, Bowlocity and Colonial Lanes.

  • Teen Gospel Choir
Teen Gospel Choir is our contemporary gospel choir for teens in 8th grade through high school seniors.  We begin rehearsal in January or February and end with a concert in mid-May.  We welcome all singers.  There are NO auditions to be part of the choir.  The only cost to be part of this group is the choir T-shirt we buy ($10-$15).

  • Bible Quizzing
Bible Quizzing is a way to get to know God's Word and have a lot of fun doing it.  It's a competition that's a combination of Jeopardy and Family Feud.  To learn more, or form your own quizzing team, visit our website at http://rochesterbiblequizzing.org.

  • Straight From the Heart  On the radio every Sunday 7a-10a on KROC-FM. The goal of Straight From the Heart is to provide positive and encouraging music that points teens and adults to God and the hope He gives.

  • Byron Middle School Campus Life
Byron MS Campus Life meets when school is in session. It's a great place for middle schoolers to get together and have some fun playing games, and share with each other in a safe and caring atmosphere.
